Upcoming Plague Inc. Update Will Usher In 15 New Disease Scenarios

The developer of popular and wildly entertaining strategy game Plague Inc. is planning to add a huge number of world-ending disease scenarios in a forthcoming update.
In talking with TouchArcade, Ndemic Creations said that version 1.7, arriving in November, will bring 15 new disease scenarios. More are planned in the future.
Some of the scenarios will be horrifyingly based on real outbreaks like Swine Flu, Black Plague, and HIV. Others, like the pictured Sovereign Default, are definitely timely.
Two scenarios will be free with the update. The others will be available for a $0.99 in-app purchase for each separate scenario. A $2.99 in-app purchase is the best deal that will unlock all the scenarios in the update and everything released in the future.
A universal title designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Plague Inc. can be purchased in the App Store now for $0.99.
The last major update of the fun game came back in July. Version 1.6 brought the new Speed Run mode along with official content from the Centers for Disease Control.
