Cartoon Network Releases Epic Card Battle Game Inspired By 'Adventure Time' Episode

In July 2012, Cartoon Network aired the fourteenth episode of the fourth season of its "mathematical" animated TV series, "Adventure Time." Titled "Card Wars," the episode saw Finn and Jake playing an epic card game called — you guessed it — Card Wars. Well, guess what. Now, that game has been turned into an iOS game simply called Card Wars - Adventure Time. Card Wars for iOS is a card battle game that lets you play as Finn, Jake, and the rest of the gang from the Land of Ooo. Whomever you choose to play as, you have to engage in "super complicated" (not really) card combat where the stakes stand thus: the winner gets to be crowned as the Cool Guy, while the loser ends up being a Dweeb. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Card Wars' card combat has you summoning creatures, placing towers, and casting spells against your opponents, aka Dweebs in the making:
Command an army of awesome warriors, including Husker Knights, Cool Dog, the Immortal Maize Walker, and even the Pig to destroy your opponent’s forces! Place towers and cast spells to unleash ultimo attacks.
You can also collect new cards to customize your deck for each of your opponents. As well, you can make your creatures, towers, and spells more powerful by leveling them up or by combining them. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, Card Wars - Adventure Time is available now in the App Store for $3.99. Card Wars is the latest in Cartoon Network's ever-expanding series of iOS games based on "Adventure Time," which also includes: Beemo, Fionna Fights, Jumping Finn Turbo, Legends of Ooo, Rock Bandits, and the "Adventure Time" edition of Ski Safari.
