Crossword, Trivia And Word Search Elements Come Together In Bonza Word Puzzle
March 22, 2014
What do you get when you cross a word search game with a trivia game and cross the resulting hybrid with a crossword puzzle? You get something like Bonza Word Puzzle.
Bonza is a clever crossword game in which the set of crossed words, as it were, is already there, except it's up to you to put them all together. While playing the game, you have to tap into your word power, spatial skills, and trivia knowledge to arrange word fragments and ultimately complete the crossword puzzles.
For every puzzle, you're given a clue that applies to all of the fragmented words. For example, given the clue "Can Be Broken," you can come up with a crossword that consists of the words "heart," "record," "rule," "window," and "promise."
Or as shown in the trailer below, given the clue "Eye of the ...," you can end up with a crossword that connects the words "tiger," "storm," "needle," and "beholder."

"Every day we release a free puzzle, based on current events," Bonza developer Minimega notes. "Puzzles will be based on holidays, anniversaries, the lives of the fascinating and famous, and much more. Plus, because we design new puzzles on the fly, if something big happens in the news, you bet tomorrow's puzzle will be talking about it!"
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, Bonza Word Puzzle is available now in the App Store for $0.99.
