In addition to the app’s usual offerings, including breaking news, interviews, photos, videos, and live scores from 197 leagues around the world, version 2.0 of the apps offered several notable pre-tournament features. These included the latest World Cup news, detailed profiles of the players and coaches from the 32 competing teams, and the schedule of all 64 games of the tournament. The updated apps also allowed users to explore the host country Brazil and its participating stadiums and cities.
