Are you aching for some bacon? Divert your appetite with Denny’s Atari Remix, a new iOS app that combines a catalog of Atari titles with elements from the restaurant’s famously calorific breakfast menu.

Instead of shooting down asteroids in Denny’s Atari Remix, then, iOS players must take aim at “hashteroids” in the mini-game of the same name. “Blasts of ketchup will break the hashteroids down, but it will take a bit of strategy and a whole lot of skill to survive,” the app’s release notes explain.

There’s also Take-Out, a brick-by-brick paddle game featuring fried eggs, crispy bacon, and pancakes, and a Centipup mini-game features in the iOS app, too:

Centipup is a fast-paced arcade survival game where you must use your magical bottle of syrup to fight off the hypnotized creatures of the Wonderfood Forest. Shoot blasts of sticky, syrupy goodness to transform enemies into eggs and defeat the evil Nannerpuss once and for all.

It’d be easy to laugh this app off, but Denny’s Atatri Remix provides iOS device owners with a selection of fun mini-games which play well. Best of all, the application is available free of charge on the App Store, making it more than worth the download.

Below, we’ve included a handful of screenshots taken from the app’s release notes. Check out the gallery for a closer look at the game.

As mentioned, Denny’s Atari Remix can be downloaded on the App Store free of charge, and it’s optimized for the iPhone and iPod touch (requiring iOS 6.1 or above).
