Tylt’s Energi Desktop Charging Station can charge up five USB devices at once

One of my favorite accessory makers, Tylt, is turning to the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo to help bring its latest device to market.

The Energi Desktop Charging Station sports four integrated USB ports and a removable, portable battery pack with a fifth USB plug. Thanks to smart technology, the station will provide the maximum amount of charge for each device like an iPhone or iPad.

And when you’re ready to hit the road, just slide out the 3,600mAH portable battery pack. Just slide it back in to the station to recharge it.

Here’s a quick video about the project. Click here if you can’t see it.

Right now, for an early bird pledge of $45, you can reserve a charging station. It will retail for $99.99. For a $65 pledge, you can snag a charging station with two Tylt Duo cables that sport both an integrated Lightning and micro-USB connector.

All pledge rewards are expected to ship in November, just in time for the holiday season. Currently, with three weeks remaining in the campaign, more than $18,000 has been raised on a goal of $30,000. Just to note, this is a flexible funding campaign which means that Tylt will keep all pledges even if the goal isn’t met.

Tylt has always done a great job creating its charging and power products for iOS devices, and Energi looks like another winner.
