Apple Releases iOS 10.0.3 for the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus

The software fixes cellular connectivity issues suffered by some iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users. While Verizon subscribers first reported the issue, it apparently wasn’t confined to a single carrier.

Another update, iOS 10.1, is currently in beta testing. The third version was released last week.

The major new feature in the software is Portrait mode for iPhone 7 Plus users. Demonstrated at the special media event in September, the feature will automatically blur out the background while keeping the subject of the photo in focus. The look is also known as the bokeh effect.
