Apple Watch Series 3 in Stainless Steel, Ceramic Only Available with Cellular
While some models of the Apple Watch Series 3 are available without built-in cellular capability, you’ll have to pay for the additional feature if you’re looking for a stainless steel or ceramic model.
The Apple Watch Nike+ Series 3 won't arrive until Thursday, Oct. 5.
That means you’ll be paying $50 more for each size of the watch compared to the same Series 2 model. And then there’s the small matter of the monthly charge from a carrier, which should be $10 per month at least here in the United States.
The stainless steel Apple Watch Series 3 starts at $599 for a 38mm model and ranges all the way to $799 for a 42mm Space Black version with the Space Black Milanese Loop.
With the Apple Watch Edition, you’ll need to put down $1,299 for a 38mm version and $1,349 for the 42mm edition. You can select from a ceramic white or gray model.
And just to note, while the Apple Watch Nike+ can be preordered starting with all of the other models starting this Friday, Sept. 15, it won’t hit the market until Thursday, Oct. 5. All of the other versions will land on Friday, Sept. 22.
