Illusion Connect Launches Crossover Event with Anime Zombie Land Saga

April 15, 2021

Illusion Connect, Superprism Games popular and highly acclaimed real-time strategy game, has launched a crossover event with Zombie Land Saga.

For the uninitiated, Zombie Land Saga is an anime show in which a group of notable but deceased girls from various eras of Japanese history come back from the dead to form a zombie idol group called Fran Chou Chou, helmed by cynical necromancer/band manager and called Kotaro Tatsumi.

Zombie Land Saga is a hugely popular show in its native Japan, dealing with familiar themes of adolescent empowerment alongside more timely issues such as transgender identity. If you’re into anime, you should definitely give it a try.

The second season of Zombie Land Saga aired on April the 8th, with the Illusion Connect crossover event starting today. It sees three characters from Zombie Land Saga joining the roster.

First up, Zombie No. 1 Sakura Minamoto. She was an ordinary high school student who was killed by a truck in 2008 while she was on her way to an interview to become an idol trainee. Clearly, she has unfinished business.

Zombie No. 3 Ai Mizuno was a member of a top idol group while still living. Unfortunately, she was struck by lightning and killed during a performance. And Zombie No. 4 Junko Konno is a fantastic singer whose voice keeps the rest of Fran Chou Chou on the beat.

Naturally, these three guest star Radiants all have their own unique personalities and skills, including the ability to remain on the battlefield after death – they’re zombies after all. When fighting as a zombie, they will invite other Saga allies to fight with them too.

To celebrate this pitch perfect crossover, Superprism Games has posted a special Dream Show on the Illusion Connect YouTube channel, which you can watch below.

Illusion Connect is a free-to-play tactical shojo RPG in which you recruit and get to know 50 unique Radiants. It boasts an all-star cast, and it’s available for free right now on the App Store and Google Play.
