June 13, 2016

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) began with a keynote today, June 13, and an announcement for a new app called Home. This handy new tool will show your personalized wallpaper along with all of your accessories. From dimming your lights to locking your doors to adjusting your thermostat, it will all be even easier than before.

The app will be built into the Control Center allowing you to do whatever is needed with a simple tap. Is someone at your front door? You can unlock the door, talk to them on the intercom, or just take a look at who it is with the camera right from your iPhone. Home will also include remote access and automation with Apple TV.

Home is coming with the new iOS 10 and will be available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. So, no matter where you are or where you decide to go, you can always make sure that your home is safe and sound.
