RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic Brings the Original PC Games to iOS
The first RollerCoaster Tycoon and its direct sequel, RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, have long been considered two of the best titles in Atari’s series and two of the best amusement park management simulation games ever made. And now you can play both games, which were originally released for PC in 1999 and 2002, on your iOS device. The best part? You don’t need to download two games. You have to get only one iOS game and you’re all set. It’s the aptly named RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic.
RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is a modified mobile port of both RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. As such, it combines the best features of both PC games and offers the original coaster construction and park management experience for which the RollerCoaster Tycoon series has been largely known.
Original experience
Produced by the creator of the original RollerCoaster Tycoon series, Chris Sawyer, RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic brings the best features of both the very first RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 games. That’s two titles in a single app. So expect to play classic-style as well, with the original isometric graphics, music, and sound effects.
Coaster construction
Want to build coasters quickly? Use a pre-made design. Would you rather make coasters that are all your own? Use the piece-by-piece building tools. You can construct the theme park of your dreams in different environments, from Forest Frontiers to Megaworld Park, and make your way through 95 classic park scenarios from the original PC games.
Park management
Customize your park with different rides, shops, facilities, and landscaping elements. Then be sure to keep your guests happy by staying on top of your park’s marketing and finances.
RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic boasts the distinctive visual style and deeply engaging gameplay of the original RollerCoaster Tycoon games created by Chris Sawyer.
