We’re at around four months away before the official introduction of the next-generation iPhone. But a new report from The Bell, via The Investor, is already taking aim at the 2018 “iPhone 9.”

This year, Apple is widely expected to ship just a single iPhone model, the so-called iPhone 8, with a 5.8-inch OLED screen. But the report says that Samsung Electronics will be providing Apple two different OLED screen sizes in 2018 – a 5.28- and 6.46-inch panel:

“The two companies have recently signed a non-disclosure agreement on general conditions, including the screen size,” an industry sources was quoted as saying in the report.

“Other details such as screen design and functions could be adjusted considering the phone is still under development.

No other features of the 2018 iPhone were mentioned.

The two other expected iPhone models in 2017, apparently named the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will sport traditional LCD screens of 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches, respectively.
