Thanks to yesterday’s watchOS 4.1 update, you can now stream Apple Music from your Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular. Apple has now announced just how much music you can listen to on LTE before your Watch needs a charge.

According to a newly updated online report about battery life, Apple says you can listen to Apple Music for seven hours on your wearable device before it will need a charge.

Under a section entitled, Audio Playback, Apple explains:

Up to 10 hours playback from Apple Watch storage
Up to 7 hours streaming playlist with LTE
Up to 5 hours streaming live radio with LTE

Tested with music playback from Apple Watch via Bluetooth. Testing conducted by Apple in August 2017 using preproduction Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) and Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), each paired with an iPhone; all devices tested with prerelease software. Apple Music LTE streaming tested in October 2017 with a playlist and Beats 1 using the default cellular streaming quality setting. Battery life varies by use, configuration, cellular network, signal strength, streaming quality settings, and many other factors; actual results will vary.

If you like listening to live radio, the situation isn’t nearly as good. Apple says your Apple Watch will only last five hours when streaming live radio over LTE.

The Apple Watch Series 3 was first announced in September. It features the first lineup of Apple Watches that include cellular. Prices for these models begin at $399.
