FIS and Payment Alliance International will rollout the FIS Cardless Cash system to a number of ATMs located a retailers, gas stations, convenience stores, and more.

According to Bloomberg, the rollout will begin sometime in August or September. The technology will be available at more than 25,000 ATMs by the end of 2017.

Instead of using only Apple Pay, the system is controlled directly from an app.

Along with a QR code, Touch ID verification will be required to provide an extra layer of security. Withdrawals can usually be done in 10 seconds, and customers can retrieve a receipt on their phone.

A number of other major banks – like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Chase – are also planning to rollout smartphone-enabled withdrawals soon. Both Wells Fargo and Bank of America have announced that their systems will support Apple Pay.
