You Need Patience, Thought and More Patience for Ulterior
How would you rate your creative thinking and puzzle-solving skills? If you would consider yourself a 10 on a scale from one to 10, then you have to try the new game Ulterior. This challenging and almost frustrating game will definitely put your skills to the test. How do you get through each level? Well, that is up to you to figure out.
Beginning the game
You will receive a nice message when the game starts that is both cryptic and strange. What does it mean? How do you begin? Using whatever you can think of from swiping to turning, see if you can solve the first level puzzle.
Using your noggin
You will find yourself tapping, swiping, and turning your device upside down just to see what works. You never know what exactly you will need to do. And, while this particular puzzle may look obvious, don’t hold your breath that the rest of them will be.
It does not get easier
What do you do when you get stumped? Just keep on trying. The progress bar at the top will indicate if you are getting anywhere at all. As you can see in this level four puzzle, stopping the hacker is a pretty challenging task.
Ulterior definitely takes patience and thought. You never know what you will have to do or how to solve the puzzle until you try numerous things. If you get frustrated with puzzles easily, then this game is not for you. But, if you consider yourself the king or queen of puzzles, then give this one a shot.
