Seka is a card game known in the USSR and the countries that formed after its collapse.
This game has various names and varieties: sikka, sichka, dragonfly, trinka, trynka, drynka, three leaves, two leaves, and others.
In the old days, there was another game, trading, which is considered the forerunner of seka.
Peculiarities:
The game can be attended by 2 to 10 players.
A maximum deck of 52 cards is used. For a game of up to 4 people, 20 cards are used: from Tens to Aces.
In the game from 5 to 10 players - 36 cards (from Sixes to Aces).
There is a Joker in the game, who, by agreement, is assigned a card (mainly the Six) of any suit.
Card cost:
Joker and Ace - 11 points
from King to Ten - 10 points
The lowest cards are valued at the standard face value.
The one with the most points wins.
Rules of the game:
The dealer is determined by a draw.
Players wager a predetermined amount of money for the bank. After that, the dealer gives everyone three cards, after which the players decide whether to fold their cards or play.
The points of those cards that match in suit are counted - whip (for example, Seven and Jack of Clubs give 17 points). Otherwise, the player gets only points from his highest card.
If there are three cards of the same value in hand (tricone, trynka), the amount from them always exceeds the sum of any whip (but not a higher tricon).
Next comes the auction. The player to the right of the dealer makes a bet. The following players can either fold, confirm, or raise.
At the end of the round, the first player decides whether to continue bidding or show the cards.
The bank goes to the one who has the most points in his hands.
If more than one player has the same amount of points, it is decided whether to split the pot or start a new round (“svara”).
The essence of the “svara” is that it starts with the same amount at stake plus a contribution of 1 / N (N = the amount of the previous stake).
Other players can also contribute and join the fight if they wish.
In the game, such a technique as a bluff is still allowed: raising the bet with obviously fewer points.
With luck, the bluffing player wins the pot without showing any cards.
Also, the next after the dealer is given the opportunity to place an additional bet of any size on top of the usual bet - “darken”. In this case, the player himself should not look at his cards.
And the following players, if they want to continue playing, must bet an amount twice the “dark” one.
