本APP收录了《古文观止》全部文章，极小的安装包使你能够在手机上尽情欣赏中国古代文化。
《古文观止》是清人吴楚材、吴调侯于康熙三十三年（1694年）选定的古代散文选本。二吴均是浙江绍兴人，长期设馆授徒，此书是为学生编的教材。除本书外，吴楚材还细著了《纲鉴易知录》。
“观止”一词最先见于《左传·襄公二十九年》：（吴公子季札）见舞《韶箾》者，曰：“……观止矣，若有他乐，吾不敢请已。”观止表示尽善尽美之意。书名“古文观止”意指文集所收录的文章代表文言文的最高水平，学习文言文至此观止矣。它是清朝康熙年间选编的一部供学塾使用的文学读本。
