Hyakunin Isshu or Ogura Hyakunin Isshu is a Japanese traditional and popular playing card game, which many Japanese people play during New Year's Holidays called "Oshogatsu" in January with their families or friends.

If you want to live in Japan or you are interested in Japan, it is a very good idea to learn Hyakunin Isshu.

With this app, you can memorize the 100 poems of Hyakunin Isshu effectively.

The more poems you memorize, the more easily you can win the game of Hyakunin Isshu.


HOW TO USE THIS APP

1. Memorize
Tap a card, to memorize the second part of the poem.

2. Remove a memorized card
When you memorized a poem, swipe the card to the left and tap [おぼえた] ("Memorized" in English).

3. Search for a poem
When you want to learn the detail of a poem, swipe the card to the left and tap [しらべる] ("Search" in English).

4. Memorize the first parts of the poems
When you want to memorize the first parts ("shimo no ku" in Japanese) of the poems instead of the second parts ("kami no ku" in Japanese), tap the settings button on the top of the screen.

5. Reset learning data
When you want to memorize all of the 100 poems again, tap the reset button on the top of the screen.
