No more than 100 items at any given time!
Replace things with emotions. Give extra to your loved ones. Sell unnecessary. Throw out the spoiled. No pity for things. Make room for life.
This is the rule, thanks to which you can reduce the impact of excessive consumption on yourself.
Dave Bruno, a man who refutes the ideals of the mass consumption society, developed the concept of "The 100 Thing Challenge" - to live with no more than a hundred personal belongings for a whole year.
This technique solves a lot of overconsumption problems. The application "100 Things" will help you follow simple rules and not forget about the main thing! Give advice and remind you to get rid of things.
Only in this way - 100 things, no more.
Naturally, when counting, you need to adhere to the rules and exceptions:
* Personal belongings. Only personal items that only you use are taken into account. Refrigerators, TVs and other household items for the whole family are not counted.
* Collector. A collection of valuable items (a library of rare books, discs or models) counts as one item.
* Socks and underwear are counted as one item. T-shirts, shirts, jeans and more - each item is separate.
* Before adding anything, you need to get rid of the existing one if you already have 100.
No more than 100 items at any given time! If you already have 100 and you have become the owner of another one (for example, given as a gift), you have exactly seven days to get rid of it or some other thing from the existing ones.
