What is it about?

PAGE is a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to helping gifted learners, parents and educators. The mission of PAGE is to advocate for mentally gifted children by working with parents, administrators, policy makers, and the community to meet the diverse needs of gifted learners. An affiliate of the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) since 1951, PAGE has assisted all stakeholders in helping Pennsylvania’s gifted learners to reach their full potential. This is done through our Helpline, our network of local affiliates, effective advocacy, and the annual conference. Working with state legislators and members of the state Department of Education, PAGE fostered the passage of Pennsylvania’s Chapter 16, Special Education for the Gifted, one of the strongest for gifted education in the nation. The annual conference provides professional development opportunities for educators and a chance for people throughout the state to come together to hone their skills, network, collaborate, and provide all stakeholders with the strategies and ideas necessary to support the needs of gifted and advanced learners.
