2015 UNOG Annual Report

2015 was a milestone year for the United Nations. The Organization celebrated its 70th anniversary, and Member States adopted several important frameworks on sustainable development, climate action and disaster risk reduction, which will guide our work for years to come.

The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) provides a space for dialogue and innovative thinking for this work, and plays a crucial role in opening up the United Nations to the world. This Annual Report highlights some of the year’s top stories, from events that cut across all three pillars of our work – peace, rights and well-being, to moving commemorative ceremonies.
