With this app, you'll be able to create your own position to defend, and engage in a live, public debate.

Create your own position. In 2Up, you begin by creating your own position that you're willing to defend. This can be silly or serious, as long as you're willing to take on a challenger in a public debate to see who can make the most convincing argument.
Browse positions. There are a wide variety of people on 2Up, and everyone has at least one position, or stance, that they want to defend in a debate. Choose from the list and take on your opponent in a public debate to see whose argument is the most sound.
Search for the right argument. If browsing through the positions is too tedious, you can use the search bar to find just the right statement to challenge. The search algorithm is pretty quick, and you can quickly find a worthy opponent to take on.
What is it about?
When you first launch 2Up, you're prompted to create your own position, or a statement you're willing to defend. You can wait for someone to challenge you, or you can browse or search through the wide variety of other positions up for debate. Once you challenge or accept a debate from someone else, you go into a live round. Each of you get to argue your point, and the audience decides who makes the most compelling argument.

Created by an augmented reality pioneer, this app lets you really expose your ideas to the harsh reality of daylight. Defend your positions! Ideas must clash!
In 2UP, you get to create your own positions, which are statements you believe, and then browse through a flurry of other people's topics up for debate. Once you find the perfect one that your argument can contend against, you challenge their position.
They accepted your challenge? Great! Now you connect in a live video "battle" in front of an audience of peers. Those people get to decide how good your rebuttal is, whether you just blab on and quibble over moot points, or if you actually wrangle with the issue skillfully.
