Whether you’re wanting to grow awareness for a cause you’re passionate about, become involved in a project or stay informed, the community on 4Change want to hear from you. Together we can build a better world!

4Change is an initiative of independent group Loco Project. We are a grassroots organisation focused on building sustainable communities. We're all about connecting interesting and passionate people.

4Change is free to use – there are no charges to set up a profile, view other profiles or chat with peers. We offer optional advanced features for a small fee.

Once you download 4Change, you can tour the app without making an account to see if it's your cup of tea before signing up. This is also the best way to understand all the features on offer but we've also summarised them below.

Filters:
• 4Change has over 50 filters which allow people to connect easily with peers in different human rights disciplines including:
• Human rights interest – environment, equality, freedom from discrimination, life / liberty & security, freedom from slavery, freedom from torture, recognition as a person before the law, equality before the law, remedy by tribunal, freedom from arbitrary arrest, fair public hearing, innocent until proven guilty, privacy, freedom of movement, asylum/ refugee, nationality, marriage & family, property, freedom of belief, freedom of opinion, freedom of assembly, take part in government, social security, work, rest & leisure, adequate living standard, education, participate in cultural life, social order, mutual responsibility, and freedom from interference.
• Activities keen to get involved in – soup kitchen, housing shelter, fundraising, building & construction, campaigning & promotions, workshops & education, events & volunteering, policy & legal, research projects, surveys, photography, video creation, press & article writing, beach & waterway clean-ups, tree planting & land restoration, wildlife habitat creation, plus more!

• Listen to the latest trending human rights-related podcasts. We have added filters to make it easy for you and have literally hundreds of thousands of episodes for you to choose from eg providing aid and amnesty for refugees, getting involved in climate change rights for pacific islanders and much more.

Location Filters:
• Change your location to anywhere in the world so you can connect with locals in other cities and countries, perfect if you are planning a trip or trying to find work overseas.

Privacy:
• Maintaining a high level of respect in our community is our top priority.
• Your personal details will be kept secure and private.
• People cannot connect with you unless you choose to connect with them or accept their invitation.
• We have a report user button and a team working to review and remove inappropriate users.
