What is it about?
A simple audio synthesizer that simulates the well-known 555 timer astable oscillator circuit. Simply input the values of the desired electrical components (Resistor #1, Resistor #2, and Capacitor #1), and the app will calculate/synthesize a square wave tone with the appropriate frequency and duty cycle. This app is a great educational tool for exploring the audible effects of each electrical component in a 555 timer oscillator circuit. The app is also useful for quickly calculating the required electrical components to produce a particular square wave tone. Last, but not least, it's a pretty great noise maker.
