What is it about?

A Maze Yourself creates random “Perfect Mazes”, mazes which, by definition, have one and only one path from any cell to any other. Rather than simply Easy, Medium, and Hard, A Maze Yourself gives you mazes with a wide variety of dimensions, 5x5 for the kids up to 100x100 for you insomniacs out there. Some you can solve in seconds, others will take hours. Each maze is randomly generated whenever you want to play. Our unique “Spotlight Mode” option is great when you want an extra bit of challenge. It lets you see only a small portion of the maze around you. The spotlight size is adjustable, so you can make it more or less difficult. Large mazes can be difficult to move around in because the paths get so small, so we created the scroll view window which allows you to move around in the maze and still have paths big enough to see. In spotlight mode, the scroll view lets you move the spotlight around to give you a little help. A Maze Yourself uses the motion of your finger, not the location of the “mouse” to move through the maze. No matter where you put your finger, if you move it, the mouse moves in the same direction. (In other words, you don't have to cover the mouse with your finger in order to move the mouse.) This allows you to move through the maze and look at it at the same time! Choose a theme (music and background imagery) to suit your mood, maybe “Glossy Black” on a rainy night at home, “Camo” if you’re feeling a little sneaky, or “Carnival” for a bright, cheerful maze-running experience. A Maze Yourself: Great mazes. Great options. Horribly addictive.
