What is it about?

According to the commonality of some antigenic properties of erythrocytes, all people are divided according to belonging to a certain blood group. Each person has a different blood type. Belonging to a certain blood group is innate and does not change throughout life. The most important is the division of blood into four groups according to the "AB0" system and into two groups according to the "Rh factor" system. Maintaining blood compatibility for these groups is of particular importance for safe blood transfusion. People with blood type I are universal donors, and people with blood type IV are universal recipients. Under the new blood transfusion system, only people with the same blood type as the donor can be transfused.
