Active Science

The Active Science app is a free app that accompanies the Active Science textbook. Aligned with the new Junior Cycle Science specification and created by teachers, this innovative and exciting interactive game features over 1200 questions, divided into four different categories. With single and multiplayer functions, this game is designed to help students revise and test their knowledge in a fun way.

The email feature on the ‘Scores’ screen, with ‘strongest categories’ and ‘room to improve’ feedback, enables users to easily track and record their progress. The App combines revision with social play, allowing students to engage with the new specification in a dynamic way.

The Active Science app has been designed to help develop many skills, including literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills.
