What is it about?
This low cost app connects and builds on work 1st and 2nd Graders have previously done with number lines. Now they use increments of ten, rather than one. A bug is used to explain the concept, and children interact with the number line and bug with touching and jumping. This app fits nicely into a teacher’s lesson plan, and provides an individual re-teaching that struggling students need to practice many times. This app meets the Common Core State Standards for Kindergarten and First Grade. It includes both tutorial and practice problems.
