airSniffler

There are several scientific studies demonstrating a direct link between humidity and temperature and airborne virus transmission efficiency. airSniffler calculates a Virus Index based on this data, helping you evaluate your home or office environment in an unprecedented way.

This app can be downloaded for free and you can manually input temperature and humidity. It will then calculate a Virus Index that represents virus transmission efficiency —this will give you an overview if the temperature and humidity of the surrounding environment encourages virus transmission by air or not. If you have our airSniffler monitor hardware, the index is calculated automatically, 24 hours a day.

- Virus Index – evaluate airborne virus transmission efficiency even without an airSniffler device

- Colour-coded measurements – review all airSniffler hardware sensors – air pollution (NO2, ozone and VOCs), ambient temperature, relative humidity and UV

- History charts – see how air quality has changed over time

- History maps – view your air quality history as colour-coded dots on a map (disabled by default for privacy)

- Notifications – get notified of bad air quality, high risk of virus transmissions or low battery

Optionally, you can opt-in to send your data anonymously to our cloud for it to be potentially used for new environmental science.
