Alert Mind is a timed puzzle challenge. In addition, one has to respond to three different events which are related to the three senses. The three different senses are the sense of sight, sense of sound, and sense of touch. To acknowledge that you have seen the event, one should tap the button that lights up, tap on any of the vibration buttons when you feel a vibration, tap on the sound button when you hear music. To complete a level of a game:
1) one has to solve the puzzle within the allotted time and
2) to acknowledge all the events.

The puzzle has a reference image and the jumbled pieces placed below it. A puzzle piece can be upside down. To re-invert a puzzle piece, one has to tap on it. The puzzle pieces have to be moved on to the reference image before the time runs out.

Mind Alert has two modes: Practice Mode and Game Mode. In the Practice Mode, there are 100 practice tests and Game Mode has 100 game levels. The purpose of the practice mode is to help develop one’s skill to be alert. In the Practice Mode, one can play with any of the 100 tests and in any order. In the Game mode, one can play a game level only if they have completed the previous level. Once an event occurs, one is given up to two seconds to acknowledge that event. The duration of the event varies. The light event lasts for one second, the vibration and sound last for 0.3 seconds each.

To get the most out of the Practice mode, one should repeat a test until they consistently are successful at playing the test. One should practice regularly. Stay tuned as we will have more to say on tips and guidelines on practice. Please visit the website www.alertmindapp.com and sign up for updates and a newsletter.
