Michael Doret is well known as a letterforms artist whose work has overlapped the areas of lettering, illustration and graphic design. Now Doret has expanded his letterforms work into the world of fonts, releasing them under the name of his digital foundry "Alphabet Soup Type Founders".

Having been a letterforms artist for many years, Doret brings that expertise—plus a unique aesthetic—to the art of font design: a perspective different from that of most other foundries. With each font release he’s pushed the envelope and come up with something new, retro, or a novel twist on the familiar.
