The theme for the conference is A shared vision: strengthening connections with information. This theme aims to reflect the ongoing change and reform occurring within the mental health sector with increasingly diverse service provision, empowering consumers, carers and clinicians to develop and deliver the services that are required. These services are provided by the public sector, the private sector, community managed or non-government organisations and primary health care, including Primary Health Networks (PHNs) in Australia.
The conference will focus on how strengthening these connections can ensure mental health information is used to enhance practice and improve consumer and carer engagement. The conference will be of interest to consumers, carers, clinicians, team leaders, service managers, staff from state or territory mental health units and researchers. It will be a great opportunity to share your experiences and practices and also learn about what others are doing. We look forward to seeing you in Brisbane! #amhoic2017
