The Amphibians of Utah app has been developed in conjunction with the Hogle Zoo and the Utah Department of Natural Resources. (DNR) The electronic field guide covers the amphibians found in Utah. For each frog, toad or salamander the guide offers a brief description, the sound of their call, a gallery of pictures and a range map.

Users can report a sighting of any of the amphibians in the guide. They can provide the location of the sighting as well as notes and a picture. This data flows over the Internet to the DNR for monitoring of amphibians throughout Utah.
