Anchor X

Anchor X is the easiest and most modern app for boaters to manage your anchor activities.

Simply touch the "Anchor Drop" button after you have released your anchor, then touch the "Lock" button once you have reached your desired distance. That's it!

An easy to access and use menu lets you control your features and alert settings.

Anchor X will even estimate your current anchor position if your anchor drags, and the anchor compass will point the way back to your anchor so you can retrieve it with ease.

The compass style will change automatically depending on whether you're just cruising, anchoring, or tracking your home base or friends.

Anchor X will continue to monitor your position and alert you even if you are running the app in the background.

And for your safety, Anchor X will remember your anchor position if you're at anchor and your phone dies. Just restart the app and tracking will resume where it left off.

BACKGROUND MODE:
For the app to keep running in the background or when your device is locked, you must select "Always" in the location services settings

For Apple watch users: Please note that if you're wearing your watch and the phone or tablet is locked and in sleep mode, any alerts will be sent to the Watch instead of waking up your device.

SIMPLE - EFFECTIVE - SECURE

Warning: Strong magnetic fields such as magnetic mounts can affect the compass inside your phone and reduce the accuracy of the compass feature of the app. It doesn't however affect the GPS locator.
