Anjuman e Jafaria

Alipur is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India. It is located in the Gauribidanur taluk of Chikkaballapur district in Karnataka. The village is nearly 35 km from Doddaballapura. It is a unique village, harbouring a Shia - Muslim population of 22,000 and fashioning the lives of its inhabitants according to the orders of the faith.

Alipur is located at a distance of around 65 km from Bangalore via Yelahanka and Doddabalapur. Most of its transportation is carrying by car, buses and other road vehicles hence Alipur is highly dependent on regional highway network which connects the village to Bangalore at 65 km South, Tumakuru at 30 km West and Hindupur at 35 km North. These are all new wide highways.
