App Store Description

This app allows the user to measure vibrations in the world around them using their phone. The app uses the phone’s built in sensors to measure vibrations in floors, stairs bridges and machines.

An easy to use interface allows the user to place the phone, set a countdown delay and record vibrations for a pre-determined length of time. The app then automatically performs calculations on the recording, giving the user instant feedback on the type and level of vibration.

The user is also able to email their recording in csv format for later use. The app includes a helpful information section which explains the basics of vibrations and typically encountered levels in various occupancies.
