App Store Description

As part of the United Nations DOS/OSCM iAviationSafety platform, the development and implementation of the ASPID mobile application, allows aviation related personnel to globally collect, and share in real time the data gathered from the DPO/DOS contracted aircraft inspections, safety assurance and safety risk management activities.

It automates these existing UN DPO/DOS aviation related processes, standardising and easing the UN staff job at the operational level in field missions.
At the same time, it feeds with quality data, the decision-making process by UN senior management, both in the Missions and at UNHQ.

To request access to the system data, UN staff member shall contact the Mission’s Chief/Regional Aviation Safety Officer (CRASO/RASO) or the DOS/OSCM Aviation Safety Section.
