Assess - UOC

Assess is the mobile application for UOC teachers that allows to follow your students’ activities or CATs and provide feedback at any time and from any place helping you to optimize your time.

Assess is synchronized with the Continuous Assessment Register (CAR) and will inform you, through a free notification on your mobile device, of the percentage of submissions delivered by your students: when 25% and 50% of the students in your classroom have delivered the activity.

What does the app allow you to do?

Access the list of students in your classrooms.
Access each student submissions.
Download student submissions.
Assign marks to submissions.
Write evaluation comments.
Publish the marks.
Receive free notifications when students submit activities.

Assess is available for tablets and smartphones and is part of the ecosystem of mobile apps for continuous assessment which has been developed to support teachers and students with continuous assessment. It is an ecosystem made up of three apps:

Submissions: an app for students that allows you to track submissions, receive free notifications when the teacher assigns qualifications or comments to your submissions. And even allows you to submit your activities directly from the app.
Assess: this app for teachers.
Explica!: an app for teachers and students that allows you to make graphic and voice annotations on a pdf document and generate a video with the process. So if a student submits, for example, a pdf file, the teacher can download it with Assess, upload it to Explica! to generate a video with graphic or voice annotations on the pdf and send to the student the video generated as feedback through Assess.
