Australian Syrian Charity
What is it about?
The ASC members and supporters come together to help empower and build the capacity of newly arrived families of Syrian refugees to settle in Australia. We seek to help these families rebuild their lives, restore their dignity and hope and help them become self-sufficient. In turn, this will allow them to live with respect, take opportunities that are available to them, feel a sense of belonging, contribute to Australian society and make them proud to be Australian.

Contributions to the Australian-Syrian charity will help to lift people out of poverty, help them to stay healthy, live free of violence, combine their experiences of Syrian and Australian cultures successfully and find rewarding employment.
We also assist and support vulnerable refugees and newly arrived families, who were displaced both within Syria and in other countries. We co-operate with other organisations in Australia and provide a crucial link to those seeking medical, mental health, financial and social assistance, especially for the children.
