Awaken Me - Origin

From the age of around 17 one of my biggest desires was to become an enlightened human. This desire stemmed mainly from the fact that I didn't want to suffer anymore. Striving for some state that was going to free me from the misery of day to day life seemed like the only thing in life worth striving for.

I am now 29 years old and over the past 12 years awareness has certainly grown. Living in the present moment has become the prominent focus of my life. But this didn't just happen. I had to face all of the suffering I wanted to be free of and turn it into something more. Even now I am still learning. In the end all roads lead back to the now. Life has never been not now and will never be not now.

The purpose of this app was a simple one. Through striving to become enlightened I have worked through a number of emotions. Fear, Guilt and Grief being a few of them. I don't know if my path is only tailored to me and as a result will not benefit others. Everyone is on their own journey. But if in growing beyond the pain of the past and the anxiety of the future I can share my path and help people who are suffering then this app is worth the effort it took to build.

This is Awaken Me Origin. The original Awaken Me app. There are different stages within the app. Each stage has steps to work through, eventually hopefully bringing you to some satisfactory conclusion where you are able to let go of the pain you feel.

If you use this app and get a lot from it, I have now released Awaken Me Origin 2.0 which goes deeper in to the questions and concepts explored in this original app. Ideally Awaken Me Origin will be enough.
