Backpackr is a social network which connects like minded travellers around the world. Whether you are a solo traveller or travelling in a group this app is perfect for you to expand the network of people you know in the world while travelling and collecting virtual stamps in all the countries you've been. Not only is Backpackr great for those who already travel, but it is a useful aid for motivating people who normally wouldn't feel comfortable travelling.

In the app you can:

- Search for nearby backpackrs and connect with those who have similar interests
- Use the En route feature to add future trips and find out who is going there at the same time
- Ask questions and organise meet-ups in the Common Room
- Stay updated with your friends travels and locations in the Travel Feed
- Stamp your virtual passport as you travel the world

*Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
