Food Lover instantly pairs high carbohydrate foods with low carbohydrate foods to balance your meals. Balanced eating is the age old way of keeping your blood sugars stable, your insulin in control and preventing the accumulation of body fat.

Food Lover assigns a Balance Factor to the Nutritional Facts Label on the food you wish to eat. A Balance Factor close to ‘0’ indicates a food or meal that contains on average 40% carbohydrates. This app uses a Nutritional Facts Label to display calories and allows you to adjust serving sizes to calculate and optimize the percentage of carbohydrates you wish to eat. Dr. D. Ludwig of Harvard University suggests eating whole foods that contain 25%-40% carbohydrates in order to “conquer cravings, retrain fat cells (to burn fat) and lose weight permanently”.

You can use Food Lover for your entire family; it even offers menu alternatives for the pickiest eater and those with food allergies or sensitivities.
