BarkBot

BarkBot is an easy no-fuss app to detect when your dog barks and automatically emit a sonic or ultrasonic response, intended to surprise the dog and interrupt the barking, and to help you train your dog not to do it.

Turn it on, turn the volume up, and leave it running on an iPad, iPod touch, or spare iPhone near your dog.

Both sonic and ultrasonic response modes are included, along with a test function. Sonic mode will be audible to both you and your dog. Ultrasonic mode works like a dog whistle and will not the audible to most humans, but may be more effective for some dogs.

Every dog is different, and may also respond differently when you are not nearby or not home. BarkBot will show you how many times it has alerted, so that you can know if your dog is continuing to bark or not while you are away.

The sensitivity is also adjustable, and the audio level is displayed live on screen, enabling you to choose an appropriate setting for your particular iOS device and home conditions.

This app is intended as a detection and training aide, and is obviously not a replacement for appropriate supervision or proper training. Different dogs and animals may react differently. Use responsibly.
