Invasive species enemy #1: The Asian Hornet
2023 has seen a dramatic increase in the number of sightings. 71 Asian hornet nests have been found in 55 locations (National Bee Unit) and so we’ve made the decision to make Bystander free use.
In season, it’s a 24/7 job and the NBU needs our help in confirming sightings and nests. The Bystander app captures picture, location, date, time, and vector (direction) providing all the information needed to locate and destroy a nest.
