Feel better. Decrease your heart rate. Stress less. Integrate your mind and body. Being WHOLE was designed for people who have struggled with previous mindfulness apps. Most of these mindfulness apps use auditory information, but humans tend to be more visually oriented. As the Chinese proverb says, "I hear and I forget; I see, and I remember." Being WHOLE uses a visual mindfulness game either 3, 5, or 7 minutes long. Prior to and after the activity, biofeedback (in the form of a heart rate monitor) measures your state.

Being WHOLE uses a visual mindfulness game either 3, 5, or 7 minutes long. Prior to and after the activity, biofeedback (in the form of a heart rate monitor) measures your state.

After the mindfulness activity, heart rate is measured again to see how much you were able to decrease it. Then, you are offered various cognitive behavioral interventions to make long-lasting changes. Individuals who complete the goals will win rubies, which they can use to unlock more categories.

We are in the early stages of the app and look forward to receiving your feedback!! We want to add music and make it so the app can be accessed by your mental health care professional (assuming you want that) to use it as a tool to help you achieve your best self. Unlike other apps, we are not going to sell your information. We created this app with the sole purpose of providing people with an alternative mental health intervention.
