Matthew 10:8 leaves no doubt of Jesus’ direction to His disciples: “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” Our authority comes from Jesus and we must understand the spiritual forces at work on this earth and exercise our authority over the enemy to free the oppressed.
