The BeSalama APP will give you information about your driving profile through some visual statistics about speed, acceleration, braking, cornering and jerking compared to the average app users in the common geographic area and to the average driver on your streets. By using the BeSalama APP, you are able to see the list of trips that have been recorder by the app and some details for each trip (route, start-time, end-time, duration, distance and visual statistics about speed, acceleration, braking, cornering and jerking). In addition, other contextual information may be used to determine your driving score or rating. This include environmental and contextual data such as road type, speed limit, location relating to bridges, tunnels, traffic flow and maps of the road network.


To determine your location BeSalama uses GPS. The usage of GPS can significantly reduce the battery life of your iPhone, even if the app is in the background.
