La biblia católica es la biblia usada por los católicos. Contiene los libros deuterocanónicos y notas explicativas (comentarios, explicaciones e indicaciones), mientras que la biblia empleada por los protestantes carece de los deuterocanónicos y de las notas.
Canon de la biblia católica
Según el Catecismo de la Iglesia católica, la lista de los libros de la biblia católica está compuesta por 46 escritos para el Antiguo Testamento (incluyendo los deuterocanónicos) y por 27 escritos para el Nuevo Testamento. El canon definitivo fue establecido en el Concilio de Trento.
