Bishopric

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the Bishopric has a lot of responsibilities. Without a good system to manage those responsibilities some will go by the wayside.
The purpose of this app is to give Bishoprics in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints a tool to track and manage their duties as well as improve communication among members of the Bishopric.
The Bishopric app allows Bishoprics to share and track information including members, callings, assignments, meetings, proposed callings, proposed releases, events, interviews and sacrament speakers.

To create or join a ward each user must purchase a monthly or annual subscription.

Members and Callings
Maintain a list of members and callings. Tracking the members in each calling makes it easy to see which callings have not been filled as well as which members do not have a calling.

Assignments
Create and track assignments (tasks, action items, etc.). Assignments are assigned to specific members and can be made visible to the entire Bishopric or just a subset. This allows all members of the Bishopric to stay up to date on the status of each assignment as well as keep a record of the assignment.

Meetings
Meeting tracking including Bishopric, Sacrament, Ward Council, Youth Council as well as a generic meeting template. This helps Bishopric members prepare for meetings by providing a template for each meeting. The template can be filled out as well as pulls in items from previous meetings such as assignments, events, proposed callings and proposed releases. The template can then be saved to the phone or tablet as a PDF which automatically creates an agenda from the information provided. The meeting tracker can be used for conducting meetings and recording decisions and items of discussion during the meeting. Afterwards the meeting can be closed to further edits making it a great tool for keeping a record of the meeting.

Proposed Callings and Proposed Releases
The app tracks proposed callings and releases and whether the member has been notified, interview, sustained and set apart. Once the member has been notified of their release or has accepted the new calling the app automatically adds the proposed callings and releases to the sacrament meeting agenda.

Events
The app can track events including the date, time and info of an event.

Interviews
Set your availability. Edit interview schedule. Allow other users to view and edit your interview schedule.

Sacrament Speakers
The app keeps a list of sacrament speakers and the topics they spoke on. This helps Bishopric member to select speakers who have not recently spoken and talk topics that have not been addressed in recent time.
