Blablapp

The Blablapp is a humorous talking application, intended to be used in a conversation, as an extra person! The internal audio engine, detects changes of the surrounding sound in real time and if there is a “silence gap”, the app starts talking itself like a real person would do! For example, if we have a conversation with some friends and suddenly everybody stops talking, the app will recognise that silence and will auto-start talking!!
The user can select a conversation subject from the provided ones, so the app can be always on topic! Behind the scenes, a huge amount of one-liners have been recorded by professional actors, so the application can choose randomly. The user is also able to get more and more subjects from our frequently updated audio database, free of charge or as inApp Purchases for certain topics!
There are actually 3 talking modes: Sound Based, Time Based and Manual.
• In Sound Based mode, the triggering is sound-depended as described above, when there is a silence gap the application talks.
• In Time Based mode the app is using a mathematical time algorithm so the triggering is time-depended and not sound-depended. The Time Based mode can bring better results in a very silent or very noisy environment, where the sound recognition can’t work properly.
• In Manual mode the auto trigger is disabled. In this mode, the application talks only when the user presses the trigger button. Keep in mind that the trigger button can be used manually in both Sound & Time Based modes.
There are also 2 sliders, the Volume Slider which controls the output sound volume and the Sensitivity Slider which controls the sound sensitivity for the Sound Based mode and the talking frequency for the Time Based mode.
